How do I buy a license by telephone?


Call (501) 223-6349 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the Little Rock area. Or call (800) 364-GAME (4263) 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Please have your credit card and an identification number ready. Your identification number can be a driver’s license, Social Security number, hunter education number, state ID number or passport number. Small game and fishing privileges become effective immediately.


How do I buy a license online?


Licenses may be purchased online at https://ar-web.s3licensing.com/ . Select Purchase a License or Permit. You will be asked to supply personal information and a Visa or MasterCard number. A receipt and confirmation number will be printed on your home printer. You will need a fishing license and a trout permit.

This will license you to fish for trout in any of the trout streams in Arkansas.



License Cost Description
Resident Fisheries Conservation License (FSH) $10.50 Entitles a resident to fish the waters of the state with sport fishing tackle. A Resident Trout Permit also must be purchased to retain trout or to fish in certain waters.
Resident 3-Day Trip Fishing License (RT3) $6.50 Entitles a resident to fish the waters of the state with sport fishing tackle for the three-day period specified. A Resident Trout Permit also must be purchased to retain trout or to fish in certain waters.
Resident Trout Permit (TPR) $5.00 Required to retain trout or to fish in certain waters (see Page 81). Not required for holders of the nonexpiring $1,000 Lifetime Resident Hunting and Fishing Sportsman’s Permit or for holders of the 65- Plus Lifetime License and Trout Permit.
Nonresident Trout Permit (TPN) $12.00 Required of a nonresident to retain trout or to fish in certain waters in addition to a Nonresident Annual or Trip Fishing License.
Nonresident Annual Fishing License (NRF) $40.00 Entitles a nonresident to fish the waters of the state with sport fishing tackle. A Nonresident Trout Permit also must be purchased to retain trout or to fish in certain waters.
Nonresident 3-Day Trip Fishing License (NT3) $11.00 Entitles a nonresident to fish the waters of the state with sport fishing tackle for the three-day period specified. A Nonresident Trout Permit also must be purchased to retain trout or to fish in certain waters.
Nonresident 7-Day Trip Fishing License (NT7) $17.00 Entitles a nonresident to fish the waters of the state with sport fishing tackle for the seven-day period specified. A Nonresident Trout Permit also must be purchased to retain trout or to fish in certain waters.
Nonresident 14-Day Trip Fishing License (N14) $22.00 Entitles a nonresident to fish the waters of the state with sport fishing tackle for the 14-day period specified. A Nonresident Trout Permit also must be purchased to retain trout or to fish in certain waters
