It looks like it rained just enough this past week to raise the lake level above normal by about 3 tenths.  This was enough for the Corp to run water Saturday starting at 6:00 am till midnight and they are projected to continue this thru Monday.  This will stop wade fishing which was available last week at the park below the dam.  Hopefully this will change next week since the lake should be back to normal pool. It is 461.75 now, with 461.4 being normal.
Don’t forget to attend the Trout Unlimited members meeting at Mack’s at noon on Saturday, February 18th with guest speaker Jeff Williams, Trout Biologist with Arkansas Game and Fish.  Jeff will address the current program and answer your questions about what to expect in the future.
