The river is clearing after the heavy rainfall last week.  I fished Friday and Saturday of last week, with a slow trip on Friday with high and muddy water and then a good trip on Saturday with lower water and clearing.  The bite was good in the morning until about 1:30 when the generation caught up to us and then very slow for the rest of the afternoon.  Fish were taking fox squirrel nymphs and caddis emergers for the most part.
I spoke to the Power Administration and was told that the generation would gradually increase over the next few days and probably return to full generation by the weekend.  Without a large amount of rain in the near future, the generation will last about 3 weeks until the lake returns to near normal levels.

Good Fishing!!
