The river remains the same with low, clear water and very little generation. With the mild temperatures, there is very little generation and this is usually in the late afternoon or early evening hours. The browns are beginning to get more active with my clients catching 12 to 15 on Sunday with a couple in the 18" to 20" class. Both large fish were males. There are a few redds beginning to appear but the fish seem to be using them at night due to the low water conditions. One should be careful to watch for and avoid wading thru these redds.

The rainbows are healthy and my clients are catching nice brightly colored males on the shoals.

Midges and blue winged olive flies are working for the rainbows and sow bugs and larger mayfly nymphs are taking the browns.

Some dates are still open for the first 2 weeks of December, so give me a call and let's go fishing!
