I was finally able to fish yesterday.  After a week’s vacation to New York and then a week of the flu, I thought I might have forgotten how but all is well and the fish were helpful.  The rainbows were taking large nymphs about 7 ft. deep.  The trick on high water is to get your fly down to the fish.
The river is now running about 8 feet high with the corp opening another 2 gates yesterday.  This is equivalent of a little less than two full generators.  I was told that this would continue until Friday and then possibly a reduction over the weekend.  This depends on the amount of rain which is forecast for tomorrow and Sunday.
There is no confirmation on when the generators will go back on line but when this does occur we will probably see a regular generation of some degree since Greers Ferry Lake is normal while the other reservoirs in the White River District are below normal.   I will try and update this as soon as they release this information.
I am planning on getting a new boat and I am selling my existing boat.  If interested please call me at 501-690-9166 or email.
