The lake is near the normal pool and the Corp of Engineers informed me that the generation should be less over the weekend with a window in mornings for wade fishing.  Next week the generation will be on demand only and this should present more opportunities for wading as well as good drift fishing.  More good news is we are expecting mild temperatures for the week of the 4th of July.  This all adds up to good fishing.
The river is clear and the mayflies (March Browns and Blue-Winged Olives) are hatching.  This is occurring mostly in the afternoons.  Mayfly nymphs and emergers seem to be the best choice of flies.
I have some openings next week so if a guided trip is on your mind, I would think this would be a great time.  Give me a call at 501-690-9166 to reserve one of these days.

Have a safe and happy holiday and Good Fishing!!
