The lake level exceeded the conservation pool level today so the Corp started 2 units today at 3:00 pm.  The generation was still running at 8:00 pm so it looks like we will have at least 6 hours of generation.  The schedule for tomorrow is showing 5 hours of generation starting about 2:00 pm.  This will be good for the river since the heavy rain last weekend has caused the mid and lower river to remain dingy.  The generation this week has been at a minimum and this blast of fresh water should clear the river.  Also the water temperature will cool especially in the lower river.
I don’t expect any round the clock generation since the White River is flooding crop land at Georgetown and they will have to regulate the flow on the Little Red to prevent additional flooding on the White River.  When the lake stabilizes at the 462.5 level, the generation will return to power demand only.
The weather is great with highs the last two days in the high 70’s and sunny skies. With minimum rain chances and low temperatures forecast for the next week, fishing conditions look good.  Even with the dingy water, the fishing has been good since Tuesday.

Good Fishing!!
