We got a good rain on Friday……slow and soaking, just what we needed.  It didn’t cause any run off so the river remains low and clear.  There was very little generation over the weekend and the fishing is good in the morning, with fishing getting a little more difficult in the afternoon as the sun gets bright and the fish are spooky.  This means smaller flies and tippet; a little more challenging, with the fish keying on small midges in the afternoon.  This was the case fishing mid-river on Saturday.
An increase in demand for electricity during the weekdays will probably increase the generation, but it should remain an afternoon event so the river should remain in good condition.  With mild temperatures forecast for this week, it should make for an enjoyable time on the river.  Hope you get a chance to enjoy it.

Good Fishing!!
