The river remains muddy after the heavy rains over the weekend. The river is clearing slowly but will remain dingy for the next couple of days. The Corp informed me that there would be a reduction in generation the first part of the week due to flooding on the lower Little Red and the White rivers. Generation will probably return to the one generator around the clock later in the week if the water levels down river permit.  The generation today is showing one unit running from noon to 10:00 pm.  This will probably be the schedule for the next couple of days and then increasing.
The lake level is 468.18 and rising.  This is over a four foot rise since Sunday.  With another rain event on the way it looks like we will be in a heavy generation pattern for some time in the future.  Wade fishing will be available in the mornings and early afternoons if today’s schedule holds for the next couple of days.  Check the daily releases before wading.

Update: As of Wednesday, May 13, the Corp now says the level of the lower river will allow one unit to be run around the clock.  This means wade fishing is not available.  Drift fishing only. Check generation schedules for any changes in this pattern.
Good Fishing!!
