Rain over the weekend muddied the river.  As of Monday the river is clearing above Sulphur Creek which is just below Winkley Shoal.  Four hours of generation is scheduled for Tuesday morning starting at 6:00 am and this should help clear the mid and lower sections of the river.
The lake level is now 461.54 which is below the normal 463.04 level for this time of the year.  This means generation will be for power demand only which should be a minimum amount at this time.
The caddis hatch slowed Friday but should not be over.  Midges are also hatching at this time, so caddis emergers, pupas and midge pupas are good choices.
