Summertime and the fishing is easy.  A good song lyric, but fishing is not that easy.  Small midge pupas or small emergers are producing some good rainbows and a few browns using light tippet (6x). Sow bugs are also producing fish. The river remains clear with afternoon generation.  The generation during the week, is usually 2 units from about 2:00 to 7:00 pm and 1 unit for a couple of hours in the afternoon on weekends.
Try the top or bottom of the shoals rather than directly on them.  Since the mayfly hatches are sporadic, the fish seem to be holding in the slightly deeper water.
Good Fishing!!
