Sorry for not posting the last couple of weeks. I just got busy on the river and let it slip. Not a good excuse but the only one I've got. The report has been a broken record but the kind you like to listen to over and over. The good weather and lack of rain has been keeping the generation about the same each week and the water temp and clarity have remained the same. None of this should change until colder weather or a heavy rain. This keeps the fishing report: 1. Small flies 2. Light tippet 3. Good presentation. Sow bugs seem to be working before hatches and small midge pupas and small mayfly nymphs seem to be the best choice during the blue wing olive hatches.
The weather folks tell us that cool, fall weather is on the way next week and hopefully a little rain. It's really getting dry and a good soaking rain would not hurt.
