We had some needed rainfall for the last two days which made the river dingy, but with quite a bit of generation yesterday afternoon, the river is clearing and the fishing is good. They are scheduled to generate 2 units froms 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm today.  This will continue to clear the lower river and fishing should be good for the rest of the week.  This additional generation due to the heat will also be good for the water temperature.  As long as the schedule calls for afternoon generation this will permit good windows for the wade fishermen.

Stay with small mayfly imitations and sow bugs.  Gray and olive are good color choices.  Small streamers used just ahead of the afternoon rise can be an additioal option. Don't forget your water bottle.  A wet bandana around your neck and a cool drink make a big difference in making your day on the river enjoyable.
