My clients had a good day today fishing the lower river. They caught a lot of rainbows and had one big brown on but broke off. The morning water was already low at 8:00 am and still falling. They are running one generator for about 3 hours in the afternoon from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
There was a heavy thunderstorm about 2:00 pm and it made the river dingy at Dripping Springs. The upper river was clear when I returned home this afternoon so most of the rain must have been from Winkley Shoal down to Pangburn. The evening generation will probably clear everything.
The fish are still hitting olive nymphs and midge pupas.
Have a good weekend and Good Fishing!!
