Happy Thanksgiving

May you and your family have a blessed and bountiful Thanksgiving. We all have a lot for which to be thankful. One is the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful rivers and streams of our state. Try to take the time to enjoy the peace that can come from casting a fly on the water.  I would like to thank all the persons who shared their time with me this year.  I truly enjoyed our days on the river.

The river is still low and clear with no generation.  The forecast for cold temperatures and rain could change these schedules.  We'll have to wait and see after this cold front moves thru. I will try to post any changes before the weekend.

The browns are beginning to be more active with some being seen on the shoals and more being caught in the last few days. Tuesday, my clients caught two nice fish, one 23 1/2" and another 23", along with some other browns and a lot of rainbows.  The rainbow fishing has been good, with the browns unpredicable ( good one day and nothing the next). The weather is due to change drastically over the next couple of days with much colder temperatures.

Good Fishing!!
