Due to the recent storms the river is high and muddy with no fishing possibilities for the next few days.  The lake is 15 feet above normal and rising.  This means there will be increased generation as permitted by the level of White River at the confluence of the Little Red.  White River is at flood stage and the generation from Greers Ferry will be held to a minimum until the White is able to receive it.  This is based on Greers Ferry Lake remaining below maximum flood pool.  The current level is 476.3 feet and the maximum level is 485 ft.
I will keep you posted on the river and when fishing returns to normal.  I hope all have weathered the storm and are safe.  My thoughts and prayers are with any that have had damage or injuries due to the storms.
The rivers in the state are all high and swift so be very careful if you venture out.  Better days are ahead;  we’ll just have to let Mother Nature run her course.
