The generation has returned to 2 units between 11:00 am and 10:00 pm.  This allows for good fishing conditions.  The fish are active with a blue-wing olive hatch during mid-day.
The river is clear with wading opportunities on the upper river in the morning hours and mid river in the early afternoon.  Drift fishing is good all day by staying ahead of the rising water.  Hopefully this schedule will continue for the next several days.

Rainbows and browns are active on the blue-wing olives.  They are also taking midges and sow bugs.

Summer has arrived with hot temperatures but the river is cool and fishing is good!  If a fishing trip is on your mind, now is a good time.  I have some open dates starting next week so give me a call.  My client returned to Indiana after fishing the Little Red and said he couldn’t believe he caught so many fish in one morning.
